Who is the best instructor to go with for driving instructor training part 3 in North East of England.

Hi all I have recently ran out of time for to pass my part 3 (reason I broke my Tibia bone and could not drive for 8 month's) so I had to cram 3 exam's into 2 month's.
I was with a training School and had 1 to 1 tution. My trainer told me I was a natural as I had studyed hard and after coming back from my Broken leg put all my time and money into it. He was sure I would not fail but as you guessed I did.
I had some really good lesson's with him and was convinced I could do it, but when it came to the Exam I had seen nothing like it and noticed my trainer had forgot to mention a few things that as well as my fault cost me.
I feel that once I had done training I needed putting into some mock tests the way I would be graded. I done some Mock tests and they all went great but once the examiner took me things were not as easy as my instructor had made it. in all 3 exam's I could not get hold of the lesson the examiner seem to put lots of things in and at one stage I think about 8 faults occurred (also ramming gears in to put you off your subject). I felt as I was explaining and given a full talk through but they seemed not to listen.

I know I can do it as I have/had 5 pupil's of my own who now I have passed onto instructor friends as I have no Licence now and they are all going in for tests shortly.

From my 3 Exam's I passed part 1 twice but failed part 2 and 3rd I failed part 1 and passed part 2 :-( Silly me). on the parts I passed I got lot's of 5's and some 6's but only 3's on the failed bits.

Any1 out there help me Please, I cant give up thats not the way I work :-).

I don't see why not, if the guy is good why not tell everyone.

Absolutely Triker - I agree!

Getting an ex-SEADI on board is a very shrewd business move - clearly someone who marks the criteria for passing a part 2/3 would be of interest to those wishing to pass the exams. However is there a risk of only teaching someone to pass a test?

Does a good examiner make a good trainer? (this is a general question and not aimed at the specific business) - In the same way does a good instructor make a good examiner - we can spot faults but can we make the necessary "assessment" required to weight and mark these accurately?

You can't advertise something that you have a connection to, but if its just recommending a service, a trainer, garage, accountant, supplier thats no problem. Its when every post becomes a party political broadcast for the services of ZZZ Instructor Services it gets a bit monotonous.

Ok Thanks, seems like a very short list considering how many trainers are out there thought I would get a massive amount of people telling me how good thier trainer is :-). Can I ask this question on the ADI forum ? just all of them will of past so would be good to find out what they thought of their trainer.
